Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kelengkapan imunisasi dasar pada bayi di Desa Payalingkung Kec Lubuk Keliat Kab Ogan Ilir tahun 2025

Abstract

Basic immunization is an important preventive measure to prevent infectious diseases through the administration of vaccines that can stimulate the formation of immunity. Completeness of immunization is an indicator of the success of health programs in protecting children from various dangerous diseases. However, there are still babies who have not received complete immunization. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge, maternal occupation, and maternal trust in vaccines with the completeness of basic immunization in infants in Payalingkung Village, Lubuk Keliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency in 2025. This study uses a quantitative analytical method with a cross-sectional approach . The study population was all mothers who had babies in Payalingkung Village, totaling 83 people, with the same number of samples as the population ( total sampling ). Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-square test . The results showed that 55 respondents (66.3%) had babies with complete basic immunization, while 28 respondents (33.7%) had incomplete ones. Statistical tests showed a significant relationship between maternal knowledge (ρ = 0.000) and maternal confidence in vaccines (ρ = 0.040) with the completeness of basic immunization, while the variable of maternal occupation (ρ = 0.159) did not show a significant relationship. It is hoped that the village government and health workers can increase education and socialization regarding the importance of basic immunization to increase complete immunization coverage in the area.
