HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KEPATUHAN IMUNISASI PADA BALITA DI POSYANDU DAHLIA DESA KEDUNGREJO

Abstract

Immunization is one of the most effective preventive measures to improve children's health status and reduce morbidity and mortality among toddlers. However, there are still toddlers who do not receive complete and timely immunizations. One of the factors influencing immunization compliance among toddlers is family support in providing attention, motivation, and assistance throughout the immunization process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between family support and immunization compliance among toddlers at Dahlia Integrated Health Post, Kedungrejo Village. This study employed a correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample consisted of all toddlers at Dahlia Integrated Health Post, Kedungrejo, totaling 42 children, selected using a total sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were a family support questionnaire and immunization records from the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) handbook. The results of the Fisher's Exact statistical test showed a p-value of 0.000 with α = 0.05. Since the significance value was less than α, H□ was rejected and H□ was accepted, indicating a significant correlation between family support and immunization compliance among toddlers at Dahlia Integrated Health Post, Kedungrejo.

Therefore, families are expected to provide optimal support to improve toddlers' compliance with immunization schedules and to maintain their health status.
