HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN IMUNISASI DASAR LENGKAP DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TLOGOSARI

Abstract

Immunization is very important because it can prevent serious diseases that have the potential to cause disability or death. One of the most common reasons why children are not immunized is that families do not allow their children to be immunized. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between family support and the status of complete basic immunization in the Tlogosari Public Health Center Work Area. The design of this study is correlational quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study consists of families with infants aged 12 months in the Tlogosari Public Health Center Work Area, totaling 691 people. The sample size in this study was 87 people, taken by cluster random sampling. Data were collected through observation of secondary data from MCH books and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test with SPSS. The results of the data analysis showed that most of the respondents' family support was in the fairly supportive category, with 47 people (54%), and most respondents had completed basic immunizations, with 54 people (62.1%). Based on the chi-square test, a significance value (Asymp. Sig) of 0.004 < 0.05 was obtained, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that there is a relationship between family support and complete basic immunization in the Tlogosari Community Health Center Work Area. The hypothesis in this study is accepted and statistically proven. The conclusion of this study is that family support is related to complete basic immunization in the Tlogosari Health Center working area. It is suggested that families continue to support giving follow-up immunizations to babies to increase immunity to prevent the spread of dangerous diseases.
